Columbus Crew SC today announced that specially branded club license plates – featuring the club’s new badge – will be available through the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles beginning tomorrow, January 13. The license plates, featuring the new Crew SC badge, can be ordered online at OPlates.com. Additionally, registrants may visit any deputy registrar to order the plates, including for first-time issuance. Office locations can be found at http://bmv.ohio.gov/county_lst.stm.
For fans in their license plate renewal period, the cost of the new Columbus Crew SC plates is $35 annually in addition to the normal registration fees, with $25 of that fee to be donated to the Greater Columbus Sports Commission and the Columbus Crew SC Foundation.
Fans wishing to update their current Black & Gold license plates with the new badge can do so for the price of $11.75 plus postage. More information is available via the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
The Black & Gold begin their 20th season on March 7 at Houston and return home for the Opening Match at Crew Stadium on Saturday, March 14 against Toronto FC.
