Mabwati converts penalty as DR Congo claims third place at 2015 Africa Cup of Nations

New Crew SC signing Cedrick Mabwati started, and played all 120 minutes in Democratic Republic of the Congo's 0-0 (4-2) win over Equatorial Guinea in the Third-Place Match of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday. Mabwati was the first player step-up to the spot and convert for DR Congo in the penalty shootout to help his nation to the victory.

Mabwati is set to arrive in Columbus this summer following his loan spell in Spain with Osasuna.
