Crew SC prepares for MLS competition as clash with Union awaits in Bradenton

The preseason slate continues for Crew SC on Wednesday as it prepares for Major League Soccer opposition for just the second time in 2015 versus the Philadelphia Union (WATCH HERE). The Black & Gold have won their last three preseason matches against the Austin Aztex, London United and the Costa Rican Under-23 National Team after falling in their preseason opener versus FC Dallas. 


Striker Kei Kamara leads Crew SC this preseason, scoring three of the club's 11 goals. In total, the Black & Gold are 3-0-1 in February. 


Wednesday's match caps-off group play in the IMG Suncoast Pro Classic. Crew SC and the Union are tied atop Group B with six points apiece. Both clubs each also have a +9 goal differential for the tournament. In Group A, the New York Red Bulls lead the table with four points as OKC Energy FC and Toronto FC are tied with three points each.

The group winners will square-off in the IMG Suncoast Pro Classic Championship on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET, while both second-place clubs will face each other in the Consolation Match on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. ET.
