Columbus Crew SC's Kristinn Steindorsson undergoes successful knee procedure

Columbus Crew SC today announced that midfielder Kristinn Steindorsson underwent a successful right knee arthroscopic procedure. Steindorsson is set to begin recovery immediately and will be sidelined for approximately four to six weeks.


The operation was done to treat a torn meniscus. The successful procedure was performed by surgeon Dr. Pete Edwards at Orthopedic One in Columbus on Friday afternoon, October 16, and Steindorsson is home in Columbus recovering.
