SPORTING DIRECTOR & HEAD COACH GREGG BERHALTER

On his overall thoughts of the game:
"I thought the atmosphere was good, the intensity of the game was good and I thought we executed well."

On if it's a bitter sweet victory in Kei Kamara's suspension for the next match:
"Yes, yes it is. He won't get the chance to get the Golden Boot. From my viewpoint it wasn't a yellow card, it's unfortunate because he's had an amazing season, the team was pulling for him you know, and helping him get it, even for next week."

On if this game impacts the confidence for the players going into the next game:
"It certainly boosts the confidence, the guys worked hard. I thought the defending in regards to Giovinco was good, it took a team effort to contain him."

FORWARD KEI KAMARA

On if any other players have had seasons similar to his:
"Giovinco and I are opposites in every way, in every aspect of play. But that's what makes this such a beautiful ending to the season, because we were the only two players with this competition building. Hopefully he appreciates what I do because I certainly appreciate what he does."

MIDFIELDER ETHAN FINLAY

On his overall thoughts of the match:
“It was one of those must win games. We identified it having two games left, that we needed to come here and get a result, and we did that. It was a tough match, I think we showed a lot of character in this game, especially in the second half. It wasn’t easy, they applied a lot of pressure. Coming up with some big saves on the free kick, it was a big performance for us.”

On the environment at BMO Field:
“Credit to those fans. They made it a hostile environment. They were cheering from the first whistle to the last. It was great. Toronto responded to it and they played well. I think, obviously, having to come back and play from behind a little bit in the second half, they applied playoff pressure. We definitely felt it, to be able to withstand that and get a late [goal] is a huge reward for us.”

On winning the Trillium Cup:
“Hopefully it’s the first [trophy] of many here for the end of the season. It’s great, it’s definitely rewarding. It was a playoff atmosphere; you could tell there was a little bit of a rivalry that might have started brewing here tonight. [Sebastian] Giovinco, Gaston [Sauro] were kind of going at it; Tony [Tchani], Michael [Bradley] in the middle. There were some matchups out there, some one-on-one matchups that you want to keep an eye on if we see Toronto again."
