MAPFRE Stadium to host OHSAA State Soccer Championships

MAPFRE Stadium is once again slated to host the Ohio High School Athletic Association's championship matches for both boys' and girls' soccer, with six state finals to be played at America's first soccer-specific stadium this weekend, November 13-14.
The girls' soccer championship matches for Division I, Division II and Division III will be held on Friday, November 13, with the boys' championship matches for Divisions I, II and III to be held on Saturday, November 14. The championship matches on each day kick-off at 12:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. ET. Here are the matchups:
Girls Finals - Friday, Nov. 13

Division 3 - 12:00 p.m.
Chippewa (H) vs Summit Country Day (V)


Division 2 - 3:30 p.m.
Archbishop Hoban (H) vs Granville (V)


Division 1 - 7:00 p.m.
Walsh Jesuit (H) vs Loveland (V)


Boys Finals - Saturday, Nov. 14

Division 1 - 12:00 p.m.
St. Ignatius (H) vs Hilliard Davidson (V)


Division 2 - 3:30 p.m.
Bay (H) vs St. Francis DeSales (V)


Division 3 - 7:00 p.m.
South Range (H) vs Summit Country Day (V)


“The development of soccer in the state of Ohio is part of the club’s mission,” said Columbus Crew SC President of Business Operations Andy Loughnane. “This is an important fixture on our calendar each and every year and we look forward to hosting this prestigious event.”


Tickets for the matches cost $8 per day and are available on Ticketmaster.com, and parking is $5. Tickets for the girls' championship matches go on-sale today, Wednesday, November 11 at 12:00 p.m. ET, with tickets for the boys' matches on-sale tomorrow, Thursday, November 12 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Following Crew SC's advancement to the Eastern Conference Championship, the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs resume on Sunday, November 22 after a League-wide bye weekend for the FIFA international window. After the international window, Crew SC is set to host the First Leg of the Eastern Conference Championship against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday, November 22. The match kicks off at 5:00 p.m. ET and is set to be nationally televised on ESPN, as well as available locally on the radio on CD102.5 FM (English) and La Mega 103.1 (Spanish).
