The 2015 Heartland Bank Save of the Year

Your votes are in. Steve Clark's acrobatic save against D.C. United's Fabian Espindola in the regular-season finale on October 25 is your Heartland Bank Save of the Year. With 28% of the vote, the save on Fabion Espindola's deflected curler topped the vote ahead of Kei Kamara's block in the Eastern Conference Championship on November 22 and Clark's Save of the Match at the Colorado Rapids on August 8.


A total of 11 Saves of the Match from the 2015 season were in the running for Heartland Bank Save of the Year. Watch each of the spectacular saves here:


Steve Clark compiled some incredible statistics this season, as he went the full 90 minutes in all of Crew SC's regular and post-season matches. His 114 saves during the regular season ranked him second in the League. Add his 26 saves in the post-season and he tops MLS for total saves in 2015. Clark recorded six shutouts during the regular season as he faced 168 shots, which was second most in the League.


Clark's 225 total regular-season saves for Crew SC rank him sixth all-time in club history. With 68 regular-season goalkeeper starts for the Black & Gold, he is tied for fourth in club history. He also ranks fourth all-time among Crew SC goalkeepers in wins (29).
