Columbus Crew SC is heading to CenturyLink Field to take on the Seattle Sounders at 4 p.m. ET Saturday. The Black & Gold are 3-4-3 all-time against Sigi Schmid’s side and have won three of their last four matches against Seattle. Here’s a look at those four meetings between Crew SC and the Sounders.

May 9, 2015: CLB 3-2 SEA

Despite two goals by U.S. Men’s National Team forward Clint Dempsey, Crew SC came out on top in its most recent match against the Sounders. Striker Kei Kamara recorded a brace of his own and Federico Higuain found the back of the net as well in an entertaining match at MAPFRE Stadium.

March 29, 2014: SEA 1-2 CLB

This one was the Justin Meram show. The Crew SC midfielder came on with just a few minutes left on the clock. It was enough to score the game winner with a perfect curler into the top corner in the fourth minute of stoppage time. The goal sealed Columbus’ comeback victory after Kenny Cooper put Seattle in front in the 23rd and Federico Higuain equalized from the penalty spot in the 57th. The win was Crew SC’s third straight to open the season for the best start in franchise history.

August 31, 2013: CLB 0-1 SEA

Severe thunderstorms delayed the match against the Sounders for two hours in front of a sellout crowd at MAPFRE Stadium. The weather would only be the start to an unpleasant evening for Crew SC. A red card on Seattle defender Leo Gonzalez gave Columbus a one-man advantage in the seventh minute, but it did not stop the Sounders from taking the three points. Seattle striker Eddie Johnson scored eight minutes after the red card and Crew SC was not able to come back.

May 23, 2012: SEA 0-2 CLB

Crew SC earned its first ever win against the Seattle Sounders thanks to a goal in each half courtesy of Justin Meram and Emilio Renteria. In between, the Black & Gold held the Sounders off the scoreboard thanks to some strong play from goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum.
