Black & Gold midfielder Cristian Martinez and the Under-20 Panama squad played their second match against Peru tonight at Maracanã Stadium.
On Tuesday, Martinez started, wore the captain's armband and scored in a 4-1 victory for Panama. Tonight, the midfielder was selected once again in the starting lineup and was chosen as captain for the second straight match. He played the full 90 minutes. In the end, Peru took away the win in this match 3-1, giving each team a win versus each other this week.
Crew SC returns from break to face the the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Wednesday, June 15 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium for the Fourth Round of the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The team's next regular-season match will take place on Saturday, June 18th at MAPFRE Stadium against the Montreal Impact.
