After falling on the road at RFK Stadium Wednesday night, Columbus Crew SC returns home for its final home match of 2016 when the Chicago Fire come to MAPFRE Stadium Saturday night for the first of back-to-back matchups between the clubs.

The Fire — winless in their last four — currently sit in last place in the Eastern Conference table with a record of 6-15-9 on the year. Chicago has recorded just one win away from Toyota Park this season, and overall, have taken three points on the road just seven times since 2013.
On Wednesday, Crew SC traveled to take-on D.C. United in its lone visit to RFK Stadium in the 2016 regular season. The match was won by the Black-and-Red following a 3-0 final score with goals from Lloyd Sam, Lamar Neagle and Alvaro Saborio. In the contest, Crew SC midfielder Justin Meram made his 150th League appearance for the Black & Gold.

This match is the fourth of seven consecutive matches for Crew SC against Eastern Conference opponents to conclude the 2016 regular season.
Crew SC's final 2016 home match can break its all-time club record for single-season home sellouts at MAPFRE Stadium. Last Sunday's win over New England was the club's fifth of the 2016 regular season at MAPFRE Stadium, tying an all-time club record set in each of the 2014 and 2015 campaigns. Columbus has 27 all-time regular-season sellouts at MAPFRE Stadium, with 15 coming in the last three seasons combined.
Following this match, the Black & Gold travel to Bridgeview, Illinois, to meet the Fire on Thursday, October 13, then to face the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena before finishing the regular season on October 23 at Yankee Stadium against New York City FC.
