Justin Meram led Crew SC to a 3-2 win over the Montreal Impact this past Saturday thanks to a hat trick that included scoring the game-winning goal in stoppage time. But Meram’s performance went beyond scoring three goals, as the midfielder — who was voted the Acura Man of the Match by Crew SC supporters — was effective in other areas of the game.
Meram had 100 percent accuracy when it came to shots, as all five of his shots were on target. He also achieved a 100 percent success rate in tackles, winning all three of his attempts.

In addition to leading the attack against the Impact, Meram also helped out defensively, recovering the ball a total of eight times — the second most out of any field player for the Black & Gold.
With his three goals against Montreal, Meram became the seventh player to record a hat trick for Crew SC in regular-season action. He was also one of seven Crew SC players to play the full 90 minutes against the Impact.
