COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC midfielder Justin Meram – a Shelby Township, Michigan native – is scheduled to throw out the first pitch on Thursday, July 6 at the Detroit Tigers game.
The Tigers host the San Francisco Giants on Thursday, with the game beginning at 1:10 p.m. ET at Comerica Park.
Columbus Crew SC will travel to Minnesota after a quick three-day turnaround from Atlanta United. Crew SC will be meeting the 23rd Major League Expansion club Minnesota United FC for the first time at TCF Bank Stadium on July 4 for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff.
