A pair of Major League Soccer regular-season road matches against the Philadelphia Union and Real Salt Lake, respectively, propelled Columbus Crew SC forward Ola Kamara onto the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week for week 21. The Norwegian finished his 10th and 11th goals of the season to set the Club's pace on the goal-scoring charts.
His brace against Real Salt Lake on Saturday claimed a gritty road point in the 2-2 tie with the Western Conference side. All in all, Kamara's pair of goals brought his MLS career total to 27 goals in just 48 games — good for a 0.65 goals-per-90 average.
Kamara finished against Real Salt Lake — a team that Kamara has scored five goals against in just two meetings — with four shots and 26 successful passes. The 6-foot tall striker played the full 90 minutes in both matches.
Kamara was also named the Acura Man of the Match after Crew SC's Saturday night victory. It was his third Man of the Match recognition and third Team of the Week honor.
