COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC today announced that the First Team is set to host a special Acura Performance Showcase for Honda and Acura associates (closed to the public) on Tuesday, August 15, at the Marysville Acura Plant.
“We look forward to showing Crew SC the skill, precision and passion that our own Performance Manufacturing Center associates put into each and every NSX,” said Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager for Acura. “Our associates can't wait to meet with the team and experience a Crew SC practice firsthand."
First, the team is scheduled to tour the Performance Manufacturing Center Plant. Following the tour, Crew SC will host its training session for the day on-site, practicing in front of Honda and Acura associates and then signing autographs and interacting with associates.

We are excited to host our first-ever Performance Showcase training session on August 15 in Marysville on the manufacturing campus of Acura,” said Crew SC President of Business Operations Andy Loughnane. “Our players and staff are honored to receive a special tour of the top-of-the-line Performance Manufacturing Center Plant, and on behalf of Crew SC we are also honored to conduct a private offsite training session on the grounds of Acura’s manufacturing campus and offer insider-access for Acura employees and their families — many of whom will be wearing the same Acura-branded jersey we proudly wear each match.”
This is the first year of Crew SC and Acura’s three-year partnership, with Acura being the Jersey Partner and Official Automotive Partner of the Black & Gold.
The sponsorship represents the largest annual commercial transaction in club history. All Authentic and replica jerseys, including those worn by the First Team and those sold at retail, prominently incorporate the iconic Acura logo.
