COLUMBUS – MAPFRE Stadium is once again slated to host the Ohio High School Athletic Association's championship matches for both boys' and girls' soccer, with six state finals to be played at MAPRE Stadium this weekend, November 10-11.
The girls' soccer championship matches for Division I, Division II and Division III will be held on Friday, November 10, with the boys' championship matches for Divisions I, II and III to be held on Saturday, November 11. On Friday, the Division III championship match between Kirtland and Summit Country Day kicks-off at 12 p.m. ET, followed by the Division II championship match between Mentor Lake Catholic and Cincinnati Indian Hill at 3:30 p.m. ET and the Division Ichampionship match between Perrysburg and Loveland at 7 p.m. ET. On Saturday, the Division II championship match kicks-off at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the Division III championship match at 4 p.m. ET and the Division I championship match at 7 p.m. ET. Participating teams in the boys’ championship matches are to be determined following the completion of the regional brackets, to take place today across the state.
Tickets for the matches cost $8 per day and are set to be available on day of match at the Gate 5 ticket booth on the Southwest corner of the stadium, and parking is $7. The public may enter the parking lot off of 17th Avenue.
Following Crew SC's advancement to the Eastern Conference Championship, the Audi 2017 MLS Cup Playoffs resume on Tuesday, November 21 after a League-wide break for the FIFA international window. After the international window, Crew SC is set to host the First Leg of the Eastern Conference Championship against Toronto FC on Sunday, November 21. The match kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET and is set to be nationally televised on ESPN, as well as available locally on the radio on CD102.5 FM in English and on La Mega 103.1 in Spanish.
