Crew SC to participate in Habitat For Humanity dedication

COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC today announced that Brand Ambassador Frankie Hejduk is set to present a finished Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio home at a dedication event on Friday, November 17. The event is part of Crew SC's Give Forward initiative, presented by MAPFRE Insurance in partnership with Columbia Gas of Ohio.

The home was worked on by Crew SC midfielder Wil Trapp and defender Jonathan Mensah earlier this year. Brand Ambassador Frankie Hejduk, along with MAPFRE Insurance Assistant Vice President of Business Development Patrick Filipkowski, will be presenting the family with the keys to their new home. This is the fourth consecutive year that Crew SC has partnered with Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio on similar projects.

Habitat for Humanity partners with people in communities all over the world to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.

The Black & Gold will be back in action at MAPFRE Stadium to host Toronto FC for Leg 1 of the Eastern Conference Championship on November 21 for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff.
