Columbus Crew SC’s preseason schedule continues on Thursday, Jan. 31 as the Black & Gold face Club Tijuana from Liga MX in a closed-door scrimmage at 1 p.m. ET in Chula Vista, Calif.
Club Tijuana is currently in the Clausura, or closing, section of its schedule, as the season is split into two sections. Tijuana currently holds a 1-3-0 record with 13 matches remaining the Clausura.
The Crew is coming off a scoreless draw against Japanese side Vissel Kobe on Jan. 28 in Irvine, Calif. The Club’s west-coast stretch of preseason training continues into the first week of February, as the Black & Gold prepare to scrimmage LAFC on Monday, Feb. 4 at Banc of California Stadium at 5 p.m. ET before returning to Central Ohio.
