CREW HAS SCORED IN EVERY HOME MATCH SINCE OCTOBER 28, 2018


Crew SC has scored in every home match across all competitions dating back to October 28, 2018, compiling a winning record of 5-1-1. Through the seven matches at MAPFRE Stadium, the Crew has scored against Minnesota United FC (October 28), the New York Red Bulls (November 4, March 2), FC Dallas (March 16), Atlanta United (March 30), the New England Revolution (March 6) and the Portland Timbers (April 20). Notably, Columbus has outscored its opponents 10-6 over that span.


CREW SC: DOMINANT AT HOME


Since the beginning of the 2017 MLS regular season, no team has won more matches at home than Crew SC. Over that span, the Crew has posted a winning record of 26-6-7 at MAPFRE Stadium. CREW SC'S PASSING: BY THE NUMBERS


Through eight matches in the 2019 MLS regular season, Crew SC is second in attempted passes (4,289), behind only Los Angeles FC (4,503). Columbus is third in the League this season when it comes to completed passes (3,516), behind only Los Angeles FC (3,767) and FC Dallas (3,558). The Crew also has the fourth-highest passing completion rate (81.98 percent) among teams that have completed 3,000 or more passes, behind only FC Dallas (83.86 percent), Los Angeles Football Club (83.66 percent) and Sporting Kansas City (82.94 percent). Additionally, Crew SC is fifth in MLS when it comes to passes into the final third (492), behind the New England Revolution (608), the New York Red Bulls (573), Orlando City SC (548) and Los Angeles FC (504).


SANTOS SCORES SECOND GOAL OF 2019 MLS REGULAR SEASON


Pedro Santos recorded his second goal of the 2019 regular season in Saturday’s home match against the Portland Timbers. Santos’ goal came in the 69th minute, when the midfielder pounced on a loose ball outside of the Timbers’ box before chipping goalkeeper Jeff Attinella. In 2019, Santos has made eight regular-season appearances (all starts), registering two goals and two assists. To date, Santos has made 47 total appearances (45 starts) while scoring three goals and providing 11 assists since joining the Crew on August 8, 2017.


TRAPP MOVES UP ON CREW SC’S LIST OF ALL-TIME REGULAR-SEASON STARTS


Wil Trapp recorded his 160th career Major League Soccer regular- season start (164 appearances) in Saturday’s home match against the Portland Timbers. With his start in the contest, Trapp surpassed Brian Maisonneuve (159 starts) to take sole possession of fifth place on Crew SC’s list of all-time regular-season starts. The midfielder is now behind only Federico Higuain (178), Eddie Gaven (198), Mike Clark (216) and Chad Marshall (250).


ARTUR AMONG LEAGUE LEADERS IN TACKLES WON


Through eight matches in the 2019 MLS regular season, midfielder Artur is among the top players in the League when it comes to tackles won. Artur is tied for sixth-most tackles won in the League (14) with New York City FC’s Maxime Chanot, FC Dallas’ Paxton Pomykal and the San Jose Earthquakes’ Anibal Godoy.


ROBINHO AND SANTOS AMONG TOP DRIBBLERS IN MLS


Midfielders Robinho and Pedro Santos are among the top dribblers in MLS thus far in the 2019 MLS regular season. Robinho and Santos are currently tied with Los Angeles FC's Carlos Vela and New York City FC's Alexandru Mitrita for most attempted dribbles (44). Additionally, Santos is tied with D.C. United's Lucas Rodriguez for third-most completed dribbles in MLS (20), while Robinho is tied with the Houston Dynamo’s Alberth Elis for fourth-most completed dribbles in MLS (18).


HIGUAIN: JOINT REGULAR-SEASON ASSIST LEADER FOR CREW SC


Federico Higuain is currently tied with Robert Warzycha on the Crew’s list of all-time regular-season assist leaders and needs only one more helper to overtake Warzycha as the outright all- time leader. Notably, Higuain’s assist against New England on April 6 was also his 20th game-winning assist in regular-season action, extending his lead as Columbus’ all-time regular-season leader in this category.
