COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC today announced that Crew SC President Tim Bezbatchenko, players Wil Trapp and Gyasi Zardes, staff members from Crew SC and Columbia Gas of Ohio, as well as representatives from MAPFRE Insurance are set to help build a Habitat for Humanity home tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21 at 3:00 p.m. ET. The event is part of Crew SC's Give Forward initiative, presented by MAPFRE Insurance.
The event marks the seventh consecutive year that Crew SC has worked with Habitat for Humanity on a community project. President and Chief Operating Officer of Columbia Gas of Ohio Daniel Creekmur is also set to be present at the event. This is the second Habitat for Humanity home that Crew SC has worked on this year.
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in communities all over the world to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
