It was a perfect strike from Luis Diaz, to say the least, and now it is up for MLSsoccer.com's Goal of the Week.
The nomination marks the Crew's fourth Goal of the Week nomination in just over a month and the first for Diaz since joining the Club on July 2. Through six starts this season, Diaz has totaled two goals and three assists.
Diaz's curling strike marked the game-winner as part of a 3-1 road win at Atlanta United FC, which notably ended ATL's 11-game home unbeaten run in addition to completing the regular-season sweep over the defending MLS Cup champions.
