Teams announced for OHSAA State Soccer Finals this weekend

COLUMBUS – Teams have been announced for this weekend’s High School Athletic Association's (OHSAA) championship matches at MAPFRE Stadium. The girls' soccer championship matches are set to be held on Saturday, November 9, while the boys' championship contests will be held on Sunday, November 10.

On Saturday, the Girls Division II championship match between Mansfield Madison Comprehensive and Kettering Archbishop Alter kicks-off at 1:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Girls Division III championship game between Findlay Liberty-Benton and Cincinnati Country Day at 4:00 p.m. ET. The day concludes with the Girls Division I championship match between Whitehouse Anthony Wayne facing Westchester Lakota West at 7:00 p.m. ET.


Sunday begins with the Boys Division II championship contest between Warren Howland and Tipp City Tippecanoe at 1:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Boys Division III championship match between Bluffton and Columbus Wellington School at 4:00 p.m. ET. Sunday’s final game will be the Boys Division I championship match between Cleveland Saint Ignatius and Powell Olentangy Liberty at 7:00 p.m. ET.


Tickets for the matches cost $10 per day – children two and under get in for free – and are set to be available on day-of-match at the Gate 5 ticket booth on the Southwest corner of the stadium. Parking is available for $7 and may be accessed by the public through Gate 15 off of Velma Avenue and Gate 19 off of Silver Drive. OHSAA is hosting a live pay-per-view stream of the matches, with additional information on accessing the match action available at OHSAA.org.
