COLUMBUS — Columbus Crew SC this evening unveiled its new secondary jersey, the “New Heritage Kit”, which features a black jersey, all-black shorts and black socks with horizontal yellow stripes. The Black & Gold's kit portfolio for this year includes the New Heritage Kit as the secondary kit and the 2019 Gold Kit, which was unveiled ahead of the 2019 campaign, as the Club’s primary kit. The Crew's new 2020 MLS kit was revealed in New York City as part of Major League Soccer's 25th season commemoration.
The New Heritage features a black jersey with grey checkerboard print on the front, as well as three gold stripes over the right shoulder. On the upper back behind the neck, there is a ‘State of Ohio’ transfer with a star at the location of Columbus. The New Heritage Kit also features the “Founding Club” mark of nine stars in silver, which is only found on the authentic shirts of the original nine Major League Soccer Charter Member clubs, of which Crew SC is Charter Member No. 1.
The New Heritage Kit in authentic sizes, as well as the Crew SC’s complete replica jersey line - featuring women’s and infant, toddler, kids, and youth jerseys - will be available starting February 6 at the Crew SC Shop at MAPFRE Stadium, as well as online at MLSSoccer.com.
Crew SC’s 2020 MLS preseason continues with the Black & Gold currently in Cancun, Mexico before traveling to Tucson, Arizona on February 10 to participate in the 2020 Visit Tucson Sun Cup.
