COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC is slated to open the MLS is Back Tournament against FC Cincinnati on Saturday, July 11 at 10:30 p.m. ET. The match is set to be televised nationally on FS1, TUDN and TSN, as well as via stream on the FOX Sports App and the TUDN App. The Club today announced several additional ways to engage with the match this weekend.
Saturday’s match will be available for viewing in a socially distant, drive-in format at the Easton Sunset Series Drive-In, hosted by and located at Easton Town Center (Easton Town Center, 160 Easton Town Center, Columbus, OH 43219). Gates for the drive-in viewing open at 9:00 p.m. ET. In a second screen engagement option for supporters catching the contest from their couches, Crew SC is set to host a Live Virtual Fan Experience via Zoom on Saturday, which will provide Black & Gold supporters with the opportunity to engage with each other virtually as well as be featured for cut-ins during the nationally televised broadcast. The virtual event, emceed by Crew SC TV broadcaster Brett Hiltbrand, begins at 10:15 p.m. ET and will feature appearances by Crew SC TV talent Neil Sika and Jordan Angeli, official Crew SC DJ, DJ AXCESS, along with special guests Dante Washington, Duncan Oughton and William Hesmer. For each group stage match, beginning with Saturday’s match, supporters can also listen to the call locally on the radio in English on 97.1 The Fan and streaming online via “Listen Live” at 971TheFan.com, featuring Chris Doran broadcasting the contest. The club’s official website, ColumbusCrewSC.com, is also set to stream Spanish-language audio broadcast with Juan Valladares behind the microphone.

The tournament will continue in the Knockout Stage presented by Audi with eight Round-of-16 matches, played as doubleheaders on four consecutive evenings (July 25-28), followed by four quarterfinal matches (July 30-August 1), two semifinal games (August 5-6) and the MLS is Back Tournament Final on August 11.
