COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC announced today that it will hold a steel beam topping out photo opportunity at the OhioHealth Performance Center, on Friday, September 18 at 2:15 p.m. ET featuring representatives from Columbus Crew SC and OhioHealth. Friday will commemorate the final steel beam being placed in the construction process for the OhioHealth Performance Center and will feature photo opportunities and interviews with select individuals to follow.
In order to preserve social distancing, the availability is closed to the public but open to an extremely limited number of media members with approved credentials and is set to take place at the construction site of Crew SC’s future training facility, which is adjacent to MAPFRE Stadium (One Black and Gold Blvd, Columbus, OH 43211). The OhioHealth Performance Center – which was announced on February 25 of this year as part of a founding partnership with OhioHealth – will be located on the team’s existing stadium site and will be home to the Crew headquarters and player training grounds. All members of the media will be provided with construction safety equipment but will be required to bring their own masks/coverings and will be required to wear masks for the duration of the time on site.
