CREW SC REMAINS ATOP MLS SUPPORTERS’ SHIELD RACE

With its 2-0 win against Nashville SC on Saturday, Crew SC extended its lead atop the MLS Supporters' Shield race. The Crew's record of 8-1-3 in regular-season action also puts the Club in first place in the Eastern Conference standings, three points ahead of the Philadelphia Union (24 points).

CREW SC OFF TO BEST START IN CLUB HISTORY

Crew SC's current record of 8-1-3 with 27 total points through the first 12 matches marks the best regular-season start in Club history. Crew SC's previous best start through 12 regular-season matches came in 2010, when the Club posted a record of 7-2-3 while securing 24 points.

BLACK & GOLD UNDEFEATED IN LAST 10 REGULAR-SEASON MATCHES AT MAPFRE STADIUM

Crew SC is undefeated in its last 10 regular-season matches at MAPFRE Stadium, with a record of 7-0-3. The streak dates back to a 2-1 victory last year over the Montreal Impact (July 20). Additionally, the Crew has won all of five of its regular-season matches at MAPFRE Stadium this year, posting a record of 5-0-0. Notably, the Crew's shutout against Nashville SC made Crew SC the second team in MLS regular-season history to register five clean sheets in its first five home matches. Previously, only the New England Revolution team from 2005 had accomplished this feat.

CREW SC HAS LOST FEWEST REGULAR-SEASON GAMES OVER LAST 25 MATCHES

In addition to its 10-match undefeated streak at home, the Black & Gold have only lost three matches - home or away - in their last 25 regular-season contests. This streak began with a 2-2 draw on the road last year against Chicago Fire FC (July 17), with the Crew posting a winning record of 13-3-9 over that span. No other team has lost fewer contests in its last 25 regular-season matches.

ELOY ROOM LEADS MLS IN REGULAR-SEASON SHUTOUTS

Goalkeeper Eloy Room currently leads MLS in regular-season shutouts, with seven clean sheets to his name. This season, Room has registered shutouts against New York City FC (March 1), FC Cincinnati (July 11, August 29, September 6), the New York Red Bulls (July 16), Philadelphia Union (September 2) and Nashville SC (September 19). Additionally, Room's 0.33 goals conceded per 90 minutes is the lowest in the League among goalkeepers who have played five regular-season matches or more, per Opta.
