COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC is set to open the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs on Saturday, November 21 at 3:00 p.m. ET with the Club hosting the New York Red Bulls at MAPFRE Stadium in a single-elimination, Round One match. As announced by Major League Soccer, the match is set to be televised nationally in Spanish on UniMas and TUDN, as well as in English via live stream on MLSsoccer.com and the MLS App. The match is also set to be broadcast regionally in English on SportsTime Ohio. A live English audio broadcast will be available on ESPN 1460 AM, and a live Spanish audio broadcast will be available on www.ColumbusCrewSC.com/liveaudio.

The winner of the Crew-Red Bulls match advances to the Eastern Conference Semifinals, facing the winner of the Round One match between Toronto FC and the highest seed play-in winner. The single-elimination Eastern Conference Semifinals matches are slated to take place on Sunday, November 29. A complete postseason schedule is available below.
2020 marks the Club’s 16th all-time postseason berth, making the Crew one of only five clubs to achieve this feat in the League’s 25-year history. Of those 16 playoffs berths, the Black & Gold have reached the Eastern Conference Semifinals on 13 occasions, the Eastern Conference Championships on seven occasions and MLS Cup in 2008 and 2015, winning the title in 2008. Notably, Crew SC is tied with the Chicago Fire for third-most wins (20) in the MLS Cup Playoffs, behind only the LA Galaxy (43) and D.C. United (29).
In 2020, Crew SC finished the regular season in third place in the Eastern Conference with a points per game total of 1.78 – the second-highest points per game total in Club history behind only its 2008 total of 1.9 points. That year, the Club won the Supporters' Shield before going on to achieve a domestic double by also winning MLS Cup. Additionally, the Crew finished in fourth place in the Supporters’ Shield standings, marking the second time in the last decade that the Black & Gold has finished with a top four spot in Supporters’ Shield standings.
