Midfielder Aidan Morris tallied the first goal of the day for the Black & Gold in the 76th minute, finishing well from the corner of the box after the ball was deflected from a Crew SC corner kick, originally served in by midfielder Isaiah Parente.

New acquisition forward Bradley Wright-Phillips opened his account for the Crew in the 88th minute to net the Black & Gold’s second. The veteran striker finished after a nice run of play from forward Miguel Berry, who picked out Parente at the top of the penalty area. Parente promptly laid the ball off to Wright-Phillips, who found the back of the net with a first-touch finish.
