For fans attending all 2020 Columbus Crew Matches and looking to park at MAPFRE Stadium, a parking pass will need to be purchased in advance of the match. | PURCHASE PARKING PASS
SAFETY:
In accordance with Ohio Governor Mike DeWine's mandate, alcohol sales will discontinue at 10 p.m. ET. Reminder, Saturday's kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET.
All transactions must be cashless and there will be no cash dispensing ATMs available for use. There will be Cash2card kiosks in place of ATMs at the lower Southeast and Southwest corners of the stadium.
While bag size restrictions will remain the same, all bag screeners will ask for you to open your bag for inspection to avoid any contact. There will be NO bag check service available.
- Your ticket will have your designated entry listed and can only be scanned at that location. There will be stadium personnel outside each gate to ensure you are at the correct location. If your ticket is marked black you will enter through Gate 5. If your ticket is marked Gold, you will enter through Gate 4.
- Stadium zoning is meant to reduce the number of patrons that are physically able to come into contact with one another. You will not be able to cross into a different zone. Each zone includes designated entry points based on your seating section.
Concessions will be available at our permanent concourse concession stands. Concessions also feature lane signage for order, pick-up, entry and exit. Every other cash register will be in use to maintain social distancing between staff. Food trucks will not be available. All transactions are contactless and cashless. All food servers will be wearing masks and gloves. Concessions will close at the 80th minute to ensure walkways are clear for egress.
Building on the critical work of local, state health officials and the CDC in the fight against COVID-19, the Columbus Crew have collaborated with medical experts, industry leaders and the MLS to develop a responsible restart stadium plan.
There are 6 key principles that were considered in creating a safe and healthy environment:
- Physical 6 ft. distancing in-stadium
- Mandated face masks for all
- Daily temperature screenings and symptom monitoring for all staff
- Robust cleaning and disinfecting protocols throughout the venue for all staff
- Robust hygiene protocols for all fans and staff
- Clear signage, wayfinding, and posted education/protocol for all fans and staff
- Continuous review and adjustment to evolving circumstances
- If your ticket is marked black you will enter through Gate 5. If your ticket is marked Gold, you will enter through Gate 4.
- Queue lines will be enforced to maintain social distancing guidelines maintaining a minimum of 6’ between groups. Patrons will be security screened and magnetometers will be set 6’ apart. Your ticket will specifically identify which gate to enter (either Black or Gold Zone as MAPFRE Stadium will be split into two halves, “Black” and “Gold”).
- There will be floor decals on the ground designated where to stand before getting scanned in.
When the match is over, please pay attention to the main scoreboard (located on the south side of the venue), for instructions on exiting.
Touchless hand sanitizer and other hygiene products will be available throughout the stadium.
- With health and well-being top of mind, Columbus Crew SC will reduce capacity this season to follow CDC social distancing guidelines and the guidance of state and local authorities. MAPFRE Stadium will seat approximately 20 percent of its capacity to home games approved with fans this season.
- Reductions in capacity will require a re-seat of the entire stadium including Season Ticket Members and premium areas. We worked with MLS and health officials to provide safe distancing between fans and on-field personnel, which resulted in removing all field seating and anywhere between 2-6 rows in the lower bowl. We will also not have public access to the Upper 90 Club for the 2020 season.
- Any future increase in capacity would depend on approvals from state and local authorities.
Face coverings are required for all attendees over the age of 2 years old (including working staff and ticket-holders, other than while actively eating or drinking) once inside the stadium.
Please review the Responsible Restart video at the top of the page.
Report to the closest MedCare personnel on the Upper Concourse or in First Aid under Section 121.
The plaza will still feature merchandising in each zone (Black & Gold zones), with signs and floor decals to ensure social distancing and proper flow of the lines.
All drinking fountains will be closed for health and safety reasons. Therefore, fans are permitted to bring in one (1) 20 oz. sealed water bottle.
- Please enter via 17th Avenue on the South end of the stadium.
- All parking will need to be pre-purchased along with your ticket to designate your parking zone.
- Tickets and parking passes for originally scheduled 2020 regular-season games are no longer valid. New tickets and parking will be issued upon purchase.
- Parking, just like your tickets, will be divided into zones. The parking attendant will check your parking pass and direct you to your designated lot. There will be additional personnel within the lots to direct you. Parking will be designated to every other spot to ensure social distancing.
Socially distanced restrooms will eliminate every other stall and sink. Arrows on the ground will indicate which direction to walk through each bathroom. All sinks and towel dispensers will be contactless.
Signs and ushers will be in ushers will be in every concourse walkway to direct fans to their seats. All seating is assigned, including the Nordecke, and there will be no Standing Room Only available.
