Columbus Crew SC today announced that its Playoff Plan for potential Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoff matches at MAPFRE Stadium through the Eastern Conference Championship is on-sale to the general public today, September 21. Entering this week's MLS regular-season action, Crew SC is in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 13-9-8 record (47 points). The Black & Gold can clinch a berth in the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs with either a win or a draw at home against Portland Timbers FC on Saturday, or with a win or draw by the New York Red Bulls against Orlando City SC on Friday.
Crew SC Season Ticket Members and the general public have the option to purchase the Playoff Plan at a discounted rate from single-match pricing with the flexibility of only being charged for matches once they are guaranteed to be played. This year's Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs features three potential home matches for Crew SC ahead of the 2015 MLS Cup Final; the Knockout Round now features one-game tilts between seeds three and six as well as seeds four and five, with the winners advancing to the Eastern Conference Semifinal. Both the Eastern Conference Semifinal and the Eastern Conference Championship are two-legged aggregate series, and Crew SC would host one leg in each round, should it advance.

The two winners from the Eastern Conference Knockout Round advance to face the first and second seeds in the Semifinals, with the lowest advancing seed from the Knockout Round facing the first seed. Crew SC is looking to secure its second postseason berth in as many years under Sporting Director and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter after qualifying for the playoffs in 2014.
