VICE Sports chats with Kamara about his journey from civil war to the top of MLS

Kei Kamara is a child of Sierra Leone's brutal civil war. He nearly became a statistic. But he managed to escape with his family to the U.S. through a refugee resettlement program and is now one of the top scorers in Major League Soccer. With a looming shot at the MLS Cup, Kei sat down at VICE Sport's Brooklyn bar to talk about the long road he's travelled to this point.
