Columbus Crew SC today announced that it is reached a multi-year partnership extension with Papa John’s of Columbus that will see the brand remain the Official Pizza of Columbus Crew SC and MAPFRE Stadium. Per club policy, further terms of the partnership were not disclosed. Crew SC and Papa John’s of Columbus began their partnership ahead of the 2013 Black & Gold season.
“We are proud to continue and expand our partnership with Papa John’s of Columbus as the Official Pizza of Columbus Crew SC,” said Columbus Crew SC President of Business Operations Andy Loughnane. “Papa John’s of Columbus is committed to building value for the growing base of Crew SC supporters across a variety of promotional, digital, and retail activations. Supporters can expect the introduction of new Papa John’s engagements throughout the season."
As elements of the partnership, Papa John’s will continue to have a permanent concession stand on MAPFRE Stadium’s east concourse in addition to newly added and enhanced concourse signage. Furthermore, the “We Win, You Win” offer returns for all Crew SC supporters to enjoy 50% off regular menu prices at participating Papa John’s Columbus locations the day after all Black & Gold victories.
New in 2016, the partnership also features the creation of an in-match promotion that encourages supporters to send photos while at Crew SC matches using #CrewSC and #PapaJohnsPics for a chance to appear on the main MAPFRE Stadium scoreboard and win a prize pack. A new sweepstakes promotion also gives supporters the chance to win a pizza party in a suite at a Crew SC match, including pre-match on-field access in the MAPFRE Stadium player tunnel.

The Papa John’s Family Four Pack also is set to continue, offering supporters an affordable ticket package to home matches at MAPFRE Stadium including four Papa John’s pizzas, four Pepsi products and four match tickets. The company also will continue to have on-site activation at Crew SC matches – including field-level LED signage at MAPFRE Stadium – as well as various hospitality considerations.
