COLUMBUS — Columbus Crew today announced that Season Ticket Memberships for the 2022 Major League Soccer season are now on sale to the general public. Season Ticket Members will receive preferred pricing for Crew matches as well as priority access to events and opportunities for the Black & Gold’s first full season in Lower.com Field, located in Astor Park.
After selling out in 2021, only a limited number of seats remain for 2022 in the Nordecke, the team’s supporters’ section. At 3,364 seats strong, the Nordecke is currently the second-largest supporters’ section in MLS and has a 37-degree rake, which puts the supporters right on top of the pitch with easy access to the Nordecke Beer Garden, the first beer garden in MLS.

As Major League Soccer previously announced, the MLS regular season will begin earlier than ever before, kicking off on Saturday, Feb. 26, and run through Decision Day, the regular-season finale, on Sunday, October 9. All teams will play a 34-game regular season - 17 home games, 17 away games - facing each of their conference opponents two times and playing eight non-conference opponents once.Â
The MLS regular season schedule will consist of all weekend matches with the exception of five, or fewer, midweek matches – targeting one each in May, June, and July, and two in August. The midweek match dates for each team will not be scheduled in consecutive weeks. The full MLS regular-season schedule will be announced later this year.

Recently named winner of the 2021 James B. Recchie Design Award, Lower.com Field is located at the center of the mixed-use Astor Park development downtown. The stadium seats 20,371 spectators and includes 30 suites and 1,900 club seats. Features also include a 220,000-square foot canopy that covers every seat in the stadium and is designed to keep noise in; The Pub; high-definition scoreboards; a frictionless matchday experience; and two sensory rooms. The plaza at the southeast corner establishes the connection to the downtown area, while a new pedestrian bridge connects the area to the Olentangy bike path.Â
In addition to Columbus Crew matches, since opening its doors on July 3, Lower.com Field also played host to the 2021 Campeones Cup, the United States vs. Costa Rica FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and numerous community events including the Pelotonia Opening Ceremony.
