Time Warner Cable SportsChannel unveils new Crew programming ahead of Saturday's home opener

COLUMBUS – Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, the new regional television home of the Columbus Crew, has announced new original Crew programming that is debuting this week in advance of the Black & Gold’s 2014 Opening Match at Crew Stadium on Saturday, March 22 (6:00 p.m. ET / Time Warner Cable SportsChannel). Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is providing Crew fans with an unprecedented level of depth and access surrounding the club and a wide array of live and original Crew programming all season long, with several new programs debuting this week. Thirty-three of the Columbus Crew’s 34 games this season, including this weekend’s home-opener, are airing live in High-Definition on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel.

Tonight, Wednesday, March 19, at 7:00 p.m. ET, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is debuting a 30-minute special entitled, “The Crew: A New Era” that features The Voice of the Crew Dwight Burgess sitting down with new Crew leaders Investor-Operator and Chairman Anthony Precourt and Sporting Director and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter to discuss the team’s vision for the upcoming season and beyond. Following this view-from-the-top special, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is airing highlights and coverage of the Crew’s 2008 MLS Cup Championship on “Timeless Crew.” 




Tomorrow, Thursday, March 20 at 7:00 p.m. ET, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is airing a new episode of “Center Circle,” led by host Brad Porter, former MLS star Nick Garcia and MLSsoccer.com writer Andy Edwards as they preview this weekend’s Crew home opener and the rest of the week’s MLS slate.




Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is also airing live pre and post-match programming as the Crew takes on the Philadelphia Union this Saturday. “Center Circle: Match Day” is airing live at 5:30 p.m. ET, led by Burgess and Crew analyst Chris Doran from Crew Stadium. The “Crew Post-Match Report” will air live for half an hour following the game, providing fans with expert analysis and insight, plus post-game player and coach interviews.
