Crew SC is unbeaten (5-0-5) in Opening Matches at Crew Stadium over the last decade, dating back to 2005.

In 2014, Crew SC set a new single-season, club sellout record with five and also secured the largest single-season total attendance in Crew Stadium history, eclipsing the record set in the inaugural season in 1999. The Black & Gold also closed the 2014 regular season on a 6-0-0 tear at home, outscoring opponents by a 15-2 margin over the span. The club then clinched its first postseason berth since 2011 after finishing third in Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference in Sporting Director and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter’s first season at the helm.
