Forward Ola Kamara was on fire against RSL. Thanks in large part to Kamara, the Black & Gold walked away with three points from their match against Real Salt Lake, clinching their third win of the regular season. The striker netted a hat trick in just his third career start for Crew SC. The hat trick was Crew SC's first since Edson Buddle registered four tallies on September 18, 2004 against the MetroStars. It was also Columbus' 10th all-time MLS regular-season hat trick.
