Crew SC announced an enhancement to its supporter experience on matchdays at MAPFRE Stadium on Wednesday, unveiling an all-new partnership with Uber. Featuring a dedicated pick-up and drop-off location and unique promo code with savings for Black & Gold supporters, Crew SC and Uber have created a dedicated and exclusive experience that's the first of its kind in Central Ohio.
As part of the new partnership, there will be a dedicated Uber pick up and drop off zone on Silver Drive outside of MAPFRE Stadium. The new Uber pick up & drop off zone can be utilized by supporters attending all Crew SC matches at MAPFRE Stadium. After Crew SC matches, Uber requests will be directed to the new dedicated Uber Pickup Zone. This will allow for a safe and more efficient experience finding a ride at the conclusion of a match.

Uber’s first Crew SC-specific On-Demand promotion will launch this Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Uber mobile app users during that time period will have the opportunity to win tickets and an exclusive experience during Saturday’s match against the Portland Timbers at MAPFRE Stadium. Also during that time period, randomly selected winners will win a 2017 Crew SC Gold Primary Jersey after requesting a ride.

The pairing of Uber and Crew SC supporters is a natural connection, and is especially relevant as we systematically attempt to implement methods aimed to strengthen the efficiency of our matchday experience.”
How it Works:
Supporters that request an Uber from MAPFRE Stadium may be directed via the Uber app to the new Uber Pickup Zone located on the corner of Silver Drive and Hiawatha Park Drive. For a quick and easy pickup:
- Exit MAPFRE Stadium at Gate 3, walk north on Lamar Hunt Way, turn right on Silver Drive
- Continue toward the dedicated Uber pick up zone on the corner of Silver Drive and Hiawatha Park Drive to find your ride.
The partnership will also include various promotions and giveaways via the mobile app throughout the season. Crew SC supporters new to Uber can receive up to $15 off their first ride with promo code CREWSC17.
