Four Academy players train with first team in preseason

For the first time in the Gregg Berhalter era, Columbus Crew SC is traveling Academy players with the first team to participate in a full phase of preseason training camp. Four Academy players made an appearance at the first training session of preseason at SuperKick in Lewis Center, Ohio and have headed out west to continue getting reps.

The four players are as follows:

• Colin Biros – 2000 – Forward – 4^th season within the Academy 
• Aboubacar Keita – 2000 – Defender – 2^nd season within the Academy 
• Sean Zawadzki – 2000 – Midfielder – 5^th season within the Academy
• Logan Kowalczyk  - 2001 – Goalkeeper – 1^st season within the Academy

The Academy players will continue to train with the first team through the duration of camp in Casa Grande, Arizona. The Black & Gold are set to train in the desert through February 6, before heading to compete in the Pacific Rim Cup in Honolulu, Hawaii.
