COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC today announced its preseason schedule ahead of the 2020 Major League Soccer season. Crew SC’s preseason schedule includes training camps in Chula Vista, California and Cancun, Mexico before participation in the 2020 Visit Tucson Sun Cup in Tucson, Arizona.

Following entrance physicals and testing in Central Ohio, Crew SC departs to Chula Vista, California on Monday, January 20 for its first training camp, with potential friendlies to be added throughout the pre-season. The Black & Gold will then travel to Cancun, Mexico on January 29 for their second training camp and will remain there until Thursday, February 6. Additional information on upcoming pre-season media availabilities will be provided in the near future.
After returning from Mexico, the Crew head to Tucson, Arizona on Monday, February 10 to participate in the 2020 Visit Tucson Sun Cup. The tournament is set to take place from February 15-22 at Kino Sports Complex and will feature USL Championship side Phoenix Rising FC as well as MLS sides Sporting Kansas City, Real Salt Lake, New York Red Bulls and the Houston Dynamo. Specific match dates and times, in addition to ticketing and broadcast information, will be released at a later date. The Black & Gold begin the 2020 MLS regular season at MAPFRE Stadium against New York City FC, on Sunday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. ET.Tickets to all matches on the Crew SC home schedule are available now through 2020 Season Ticket Memberships both online and over the phone at 614-447-CREW. 2020 Full Season Ticket Members will have priority over the waitlist in selecting seats for the Club’s new downtown stadium, slated to open in 2021.
