COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC today announced that it is set to host live streams of all three of its 2020 Visit Tucson Sun Cup matches on ColumbusCrewSC.com/Tucson. The preseason tournament, which runs from February 15-22, features Major League Soccer clubs Houston Dynamo, New York Red Bulls, Real Salt Lake and Sporting Kansas City, as well as USL Championship side Phoenix Rising FC.
Play-by-play broadcaster Neil Sika will bring the calls from Arizona for the Black & Gold during the matches against the New York Red Bulls and the Houston Dynamo, while Josh Eastern and Gary Bailey will call the game for Crew SC’s match against Phoenix Rising FC.
The first broadcast, on Saturday, February 15 against Phoenix Rising FC, kicks-off at 9:00 p.m. ET. The Crew then takes on the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, February 19 with the match set to begin at 8:30 p.m. ET. Crew SC wraps-up the tournament on Saturday, February 22 when it faces the Houston Dynamo at 7:00 p.m. ET. Per MLS policy, all three matches will be available within Crew SC’s broadcast territory via ColumbusCrewSC.com/Tucson.
The winner of the Visit Tucson Sun Cup will be determined by the total points earned over three matches. Teams will earn three points for a win, one point for a draw, and zero points for a loss.
The Black & Gold begin the 2020 MLS regular season at MAPFRE Stadium against New York City FC, on Sunday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. ET.
