COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC this morning unveiled its new Community kit for the 2021 season, the “Inaugural Stadium Kit,” which features a grey, white and gold jersey, gold shorts and gold socks. The Inaugural Stadium Kit is inspired by the iconic architecture of the New Crew Stadium, featuring a grey and white pattern on the jersey reminiscent of the sharp, modern angles of the stadium which is set to open this July. Additionally, the jersey also features Black & Gold accents and trim.
New Crew Stadium’s modern and dynamic architecture reflects the thriving and evolving nature of Columbus that the Crew is proud to represent. As such, the kit revealed today also features a “ColumbUS” logo and a State of Ohio transfer with a star at the location of Columbus. The left sleeve of the shirt features a commemorative silver MLS Cup Champions sleeve patch, along with two stars above the Crew crest.
The reigning MLS Cup Champions’ kit portfolio for this year also includes the black “New Heritage” kit, which was unveiled ahead of the 2020 campaign, as the Club kit. Both kits in the Crew portfolio are set to feature Crew “Founding Partner” Nationwide on the front of the jersey. The new Inaugural Stadium jersey is immediately available at the Crew SC Shop at historic Crew Stadium.

In February of 2020, Crew SC announced that it had partnered with Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Nationwide’s longtime community and philanthropic partner – to feature a special Nationwide Children’s jersey for all competitions, with Nationwide becoming the Official Jersey and Insurance Partner of the Crew in 2021. The Black & Gold will continue to work with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, dedicating a month each year to champion “On Our Sleeves,” the movement to transform children's mental health.
As the Official Jersey Partner of Columbus Crew SC, Nationwide will be featured on all official Crew SC First Team and Academy matchday attire. Nationwide will also be the presenting partner of the Crew SC Youth Camps & Clinics program and the Nationwide Agent-of-the-Match platform, recognizing a Nationwide agent each regular season match through a VIP matchday experience.
The Black & Gold are set to travel to Chula Vista, California tomorrow, March 3 to begin the 2021 preseason before traveling to Orlando, Florida on March 21. Following the training camp in Orlando, the Crew opens the 2021 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League on the road on April 8 against Nicaraguan side Real Esteli FC in the First Leg of the Round of 16, before hosting Real Esteli at home for the Second Leg on April 15. The Black & Gold are set to kick-off the 2021 MLS regular season in April with the League’s campaign beginning April 17. A complete MLS schedule is set to be announced by MLS in the near future as the Club prepares to move into New Crew Stadium this July.
