CREW SC CONCLUDES 2016 TRILLIUM CUP RIVALRY SERIES ON SUNDAY AT BMO FIELD
On Sunday, July 31, Columbus Crew SC plays its 21st 2016 MLS regular-season contest and its 10th on the road by visiting Toronto FC and BMO Field for the clubs' third and final regular-season meeting this year. Columbus can secure the 2016 Trillium Cup rivalry series with a win on Sunday.

On July 13, Harrison Afful scored his first goal of the season, but Toronto FC finished 1-1 against the Black & Gold with a Jordan Hamilton equalizer. Steve Clark made two saves for Columbus in the contest.
CREW SC TO WRAP-UP NINTH ANNUAL TRILLIUM CUP RIVALRY SERIES ON SUNDAY
Crew SC and Toronto FC conclude the 2016 Trillium Cup rivalry series with this contest. The series is currently level at two points apiece after the clubs’ 0-0 draw at BMO Field on May 21 and their 1-1 draw at MAPFRE Stadium on July 13. The Black & Gold have captured the Cup six times over the eight years it has been contested, including last season. Crew SC holds an all-time record of 12-5-10 against Toronto FC since the Reds' entry into MLS ahead of the 2007 campaign.
KAMARA STILL LEAGUE'S LEADING GOAL-SCORER SINCE HIS FIRST TALLY
In scoring his 10th goal of the 2016 MLS regular-season last weekend against Orlando City SC, Crew SC forward Ola Kamara is on a streak of scoring at least one goal in seven out of his last nine appearances. His first Major League Soccer regular-season goal came as part of a hat trick on May 28, 2016 against Real Salt Lake. Since that date, Kamara continues to lead all of Major League Soccer in goals. The Norwegian is currently four ahead of Philadelphia's Roland Alberg in that regard.
KAMARA STRIKES FOR 10TH GOAL, REMAINS MOST EFFICIENT GOAL-SCORER IN MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER 2016, BLACK & GOLD HISTORY
Crew SC forward Ola Kamara scored his 10th goal of the 2016 MLS regular-season against Orlando City SC last Saturday and has now scored 10 goals in 969 minutes played for the club, giving him a goals/90 minutes rate of 0.93. That figure leads MLS among all 381 players with at least 200 minutes played. Kamara also continues to lead Stern John (0.89 goals/90 minutes) for the highest efficiency in club history.
STEVE CLARK NEARING 300 SAVE MILESTONE
Against Orlando City SC last weekend, Crew SC goalkeeper Steve Clark registered three saves, bringing his career total to 297. That places him just three shy of becoming the third goalkeeper in Columbus history to reach the 300 plateau (Hesmer, 412 and Busch, 367).
CREW SC LEADS MLS IN CHANCES CREATED PER MATCH, SECOND IN POSSESSION
According to the League’s official statistician, Opta, Columbus Crew SC leads MLS in chances created per match (10.6) and ranks second in possession (55.7%).
BLACK & GOLD TOP-TWO IN MLS IN PASSING ACCURACY, COMPLETED PASSES PER MATCH
According to Opta, Crew SC ranks second in MLS in overall passing accuracy and successful passes per match. Columbus is one of just two MLS teams passing above an 80% accuracy rate as well as one of two clubs completing over 390 passes per game (joining Seattle in both regards).
